Strengthening Exercises
Muscular strength is the ability of a muscle to generate force against some resistance. Maintenance of a normal level of muscle strength is important for normal healthy living. Muscle weakness or muscle imbalances can result in abnormal gait or movement and can impair normal functional movement. Strengthening exercises will help maintain or increase joint flexibility. It will also help improve balance by making muscles more resilient and will decrease the risk of injury. It will also help improve coordination and posture. Strengthening will help improve bone density and ability to do everyday activities.
